Espanta Suegras is a handcrafted blend of the finest, aged Tequila reposado and macerated herbs.
10 traditional Mexican herbs, grown in the Mediterranean-like climate around Lake Chapala, have
been combined with unique spirits of the blue agave to obtain a delightful liqueur of the European
tradition. Espanta Suegras is 19.5% alcohol. Espanta Suegras is a bright copper color.
It tastes of mint leaf, tea tree oil, green tea and honey clover aromas. A velvety entry leads to an
invigorating, oily, lightly sweet medium body of fresh mint oil, tea leaves, and cane syrup and tingling
herbs and essential oils. Finishes with a delicate mouth cooling rush of mint and honey.
Gold Medal winning, rated at 90 points (exceptional) in tasting competitions. In Spanish,
espanta suegras literally means “that which scares off mother-in-laws”
